What is Venus Freeze?

How Does Venus Freeze Work?

Venus Freeze uses Multi-Polar Radio Frequency and Pulsed Magnetic Field beams which produce a soothing and therapeutic heat matrix over the skin. Skin tightening, wrinkle reduction and cellulite reduction occur because the multi-polar radio frequency causes a thermal reaction in the tissue which stimulates the body’s natural healing response. Body’s natural healing response causes the formation of new collagen and production of new elastin fibers. The new collage in the skin  will contract, achieving tighter skin, and softening of wrinkles, as well as reduced cellulite.

Body contouring is achieved when the temperature of the skin is elevated, thus causing the body to releases stress hormones. These hormones pass through the blood stream, and attach themselves to specific receptors on the membranes of the fat cells in the hypodermis (the deepest layer of the skin). Once attached to the receptor, the stress hormone will activate an enzyme called lipase which is in charge of breaking down triglycerides into free fatty acids. The free fatty acids will then exit through the blood stream, and the volume of the fat cell is thus reduced giving you a smoother, more contoured shape.

What to Expect from Venus Freeze?

Venus Freeze treatments are non-invasive and painless, with many patients comparing the treatment to a hot-stone massage! Treatments take approximately 30-40 minutes depending on the area. The results can be expected to be seen as the treatments progress; a minimum of 6 treatments for the face, 8 on the neck, and 10 on the body.

Is it going to Hurt?

It is unlikely to experience any pain or discomfort involved in these treatments. In fact, most patients nap or just simply relax during the treatment. The sensation is absolutely pleasant and warm.

How Many Treatments do I Need?

To obtain optimal results, we recommend six treatments for the face or neck, and eight to ten for the body. It is not uncommon that patients continue to see an improvement in their skin up to three months after the series of treatments is complete.

Is There Any Downtime?

With minimal downtime and minimal discomfort, a treatment to one area can take less than 30 minutes allowing you to enjoy the immediate and long term benefits shortly after a treatment.

What do I Need to do to Prepare before a Treatment?

There is absolutely no preparation needed. Bring a pillow as you might fall asleep!

What is it like to have a treatment?

As you lay comfortably on a treatment bed, the technician will apply a treatment gel to the targeted skin area. This lotion helps the applicator glide on the surface of your skin. The correct size applicator is selected, and the treatment provider will then begin to apply smooth and consistent movements on the surface of the skin. This feels like a wonderful warm massage. We encourage our patients to close their eyes and take this time to just relax and enjoy the quiet.

Are the Results Real?

The results are very real. We only use before and after photos of real patients with typical results.

How Will I Feel After a Treatment?

During the treatment patients feel relaxed, and the treatment area will feel warm. Sometimes there is a slight pinkness to the skin; however the warmth and pinkness will not last longer than an hour.

How do I Maintain the Results?

After your Venus Freeze treatment series you will require maintenance treatments to ensure that you keep the aging process at minimum. Even though the minimum treatments which are needed to maintain the results are one treatment per every season (4 treatments a year), we find that many patients like to come back as often as once per month because they love the treatments and the results.
